Returns Policy – Proper Treats
At Proper Treats, we produce perishable food products. Due to the nature of these items, we operate a strict no-returns policy, except where required under applicable consumer law.
Returns & Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Ordering the wrong product
- Deciding you no longer want the item
- Personal taste preferences
All sales are considered final once an order has been placed and fulfilled.
Perishable Goods
Our products are perishable food items. For safety and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of any food products, including items that are unopened.
This policy ensures we maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
We will provide a refund or replacement where required by law if your order:
- Arrives damaged
- Is faulty
- Is incorrect
- Is not as described
If you experience any of the above, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@propertreats.com.au
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product and packaging
We reserve the right to assess all claims before issuing a refund or replacement.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under applicable consumer laws, including:
- Consumer Rights Act 2015 UK
- Australian Consumer Law
- Consumer Guarantees Act New Zealand
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy in accordance with these laws.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
- Please allow up to 10 business days for processing
We reserve the right to refuse refunds where sufficient evidence is not provided or where the issue does not meet the criteria outlined above.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges.
